Condo Flooring installed by Honest & Affordable Floor Covering in Arizona

Condo flooring comes with a rulebook: most HOAs require sound ratings (IIC and STC) so your footsteps don't become your downstairs neighbor's problem, and they may need paperwork before work begins. The good news: today's floors and underlayments meet those ratings without giving up the look you want.

Honest & Affordable installs condo floors across Arizona with the sound-rated underlayments HOAs ask for. Our blog explains IIC/STC ratings in plain English, and at your free consultation we'll match the floor and underlayment to your building's requirements.

“Honest and Affordable Floor Covering LLC truly lives up to the name. They did a great job tiling two showers, completing the entire floor, and installing LVP. Everything turned out great and the pricing was fair. I’d definitely work with them again and recommend them to others.”

“Highly recommend!! Francisco was awesome, was very thorough and very affordable! They completed my entire house in only a couple days. Him and his team worked very hard and made sure everything looked perfect! They were also very trustworthy and kept me updated during the entire process. I had such a great experience with them.”

“I hired Honest & Affordable Floor Covering due to the great reviews and I'm happy I did. Francisco was very responsive and easy to work with. The final invoice was lower than his original quote which tells me they are honest as their name suggests. We are very happy with the install and love our new flooring.”

Condo Flooring questions

What are IIC and STC ratings?+

IIC measures impact sound (footsteps) between floors; STC measures airborne sound. HOAs set minimums for both. Our blog's condo guide explains them clearly, and we spec your floor to your building's numbers.

Can I install hardwood-look floors in an upper condo?+

Usually yes — with the right underlayment, LVP and laminate achieve the required ratings while looking like real wood. We verify against your HOA rules at the consultation.

How do I start a condo flooring project?+

Call (602) 854-8363 for a free consultation. Bring your HOA's flooring requirements if you have them — we'll handle the rest.
